Information for Persons Making Support Payments

All support payments, except cash, must be mailed to the Indiana State Central Collection Unit, "INSCCU", at the address listed below:

The INSCCU will accept the following types of payments:
  • Personal Checks
  • Money Orders
  • Cashier's Checks
Please include the following information with each payment:
  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your Social Security number
  • Custodial party's name
  • Your address
  • Payment amount
  • Your ISETS case #
  • Your Court case #
A Child Support Payment Remittance form found at INSCCU may be downloaded, printed and sent in with your payments.
 
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS may be made by calling 1-855-972-9427 or online through ChildSupportBillPay.  A convenience fee of 2.25% is applied.

Child Support Payment History

A history of all payments received on a case may be obtained for $1.00.  Indiana State law requires an additional $3.00 if the history must be certified.  To request a history, you can either go to the Clerk's Office, Room 10 or submit your request in writing. You must include your name, case number, and the date range of your request.  Information concerning child support is confidential, only attorney of record or one of the parties may obtain a history, so you MUST PROVIDE a photo ID in order to receive the payment history.

Child Support Name or Address Change 

In order to provide you with the most efficient service, it is very important that support payors and recipients inform the Clerk's Office of any changes in name or address.
 
You may notify the Clerk's office of a change of name or address either:
  • in person at the Clerk's office in Room 10 of the Whitley County Courthouse
  • in writing by mail, or
  • in writing by email.
If you choose to notify in writing, please submit a letter containing your case number, date of birth, Social Security number, both the old and new addresses or names and your signature.  In addition, you must submit a copy of a photo ID.

If you choose to notify in person, please bring a photo ID with you to the Clerk's office during normal business hours.
